Terms and Conditions of Hire

All of our equipment must be supervised at all times by a responsible and capable person over the age of 18.

The Soft Play Equipment is suitable for Children Under 5. Please do not allow older children to use the equipment as it may result in children getting hurt or the equipment being damaged.

The Bouncy Castles are suitable for children under 1.5m tall. Please do not allow taller children or adults to use the equipment as it may result in the children getting hurt or the equipment being damaged.

Please remember the NO food or drinks are allowed at any time on any of our equipment. This is to maintain hygiene and to avoid choking on food.

Shoes MUST be removed before using our soft play and ball ponds to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our equipment.

Always ensure that the equipment is not over crowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of the children playing.

Ensure that children do not push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

NO pets, pens or sharp instruments are to be allowed on or near our equipment.

NO face paint or confetti to be allowed on our equipment. Both of these will stain the equipment and the hirer will be responsible for the costs of professional cleaning or replacement.

If our equipment is damaged or requires professional cleaning or repair (beyond normal wear and tear) as a consequence of hire the hirer will be required to pay for the professional cleaning or repair.

If you notice any damage to any of the equipment, please suspend use immediately, call us and put away until a Lavender Gardens Soft Play Hire employee arrives to collect to avoid injury to users.

Rockers and ride -ons should be supervised closely (especially for little fingers and toes in the way!), as well as tipping over backwards or sideways.

Standing, diving and jumping on/from the walls/sides of the ball ponds  and bouncy castles should not be allowed. Play equipment must not be thrown.

Do not allow anyone with a history of back or neck problems to use our inflatable equipment.

Please ensure that no one over or under the specified/recommended age uses our equipment.

Adults who enter the soft play set up or walk over the soft play mats whilst supervising must remove their shoes.

It is recommended for hygiene reasons that socks should be worn whilst using the equipment.

Ball ponds should never be overcrowded.

It is the responsibility of the supervising adults to reduce the number of occupants accordingly in particular when young children are in the ponds with older/bigger children.

Our equipment should not be moved once set up.

At the end of the hire please ensure that all the balls are back in the ball pit.

Please respect our equipment.

DAMAGE TO OUR EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING EQUIPMENT REQUIRING PROFESSIONAL CLEANING, WHICH OCCURS DURING HIRE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER AND WE WILL REQUIRE THE HIRER TO MEET THE COST OF REPAIR, REPLACMENT or PROFESSIONAL CLEANING. 

DISCLAIMER The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of use of the equipment. We will not accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using any of our equipment

These Terms & Conditions are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to.
